Dr. Neville Graham
Vice President
Jamaican Cuban Friendship Association
Graduate of the Cuban Jamaican Scholarship program 1984
The Jamaican Cuban Friendship Association send fraternal greetings to ICAP on the 60th Anniversary of your solidarity organization to be commemorated on the 30th December 2020.
ICAP is recognized as one of the world's premier and most resilient solidarity movements. We in Jamaica recognizes the tremendous work of ICAP in promoting world peace and the advancement of ordinary and oppressed peoples all over the world including Jamaica and the Caribbean.
Jamaicans are always grateful for the tremendous sacrifice of the Cuban Medical, Nursing, Dental, Teaching, Engineers and other professionals in assisting our people. Many young Jamaicans have received scholarships for training through ICAP and Jamaica Cuba Friendship Association over the last 45 years.
The Jamaican Friendship organization pledges our solidarity with the Cuban people through ICAP in resisting the Criminal Economic Blockade imposed on Cuba by US imperialism and its allies and demand that it be lifted immediately. We support Cuba's right for the return of Guantanamo Bay to the Cuban Government. Jamaican Cuban Friendship Association maintains that the Caribbean Sea remains a zone of peace and free of nuclear weapons.
The JCFA recognizes the Henry Reeves Medical Brigade of Cuban medical personnel, assisting other Countries during natural disasters, and Cuba's Science and Technology in the development of not one but four coronavirus vaccines. The only country in Latin America and the Caribbean to do so despite the blockade.
Long live ICAP.
Long live the Cuban Socialist revolution.
